A glimpse into Rebel Wilson’s exclusive wellness retreat

If you’re a Rebel Wilson fan, you’ve probably heard of her favorite health retreat, which she credits with helping her on her approximately 80-pound weight loss journey. Well, the actress returned to VivaMayr this week after a long and happy vacation with her new girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, and shared a day in the life with her followers on her instagram story.

Rebel previously stayed at the luxury wellness resort in Austria in 2019. She loved it so much that she returned towards the end of 2020 to get a head start on her New Year’s resolutions. She hoped” boost my immune system and lose my last two kilos”, the Secondary year star said People.

However, Rebel says going back isn’t about the number on the scale. “It’s not really about that,” she said. “I was doing unhealthy things to my body and I just wanted to change it and become a healthier person.”

If you’re as curious about this chic wellness center as I am, then you’re in luck. Below is everything there is to know about a typical day at the VIP Retreat, VivaMayr.

What is VivaMayr?

VivaMayr is a premium health and wellness retreat located in Austria. And yes, it is as fabulous as it sounds.

The resort combines four elements to create its signature health concept: personalized health and nutrition, modern Mayr medicine, innovative medical technology and lifelong support, according to their website. Basically, they focus on nutrition, movement, and mental toughness.

The center also uses the “Mayr Method” to revamp the diets of its clients by cutting out snacks, reducing gluten and dairy, and even changing the way people chew their food. Staples are whole foods high in alkalines, such as vegetables, fish, and sheep’s milk yogurt.

Where is VivaMayr?

The retreat has two locations in Austria, one in Altaussee and the other in Maria Wörth. There are also day clinic options in London, New York, Vienna and an upcoming destination in Istanbul.

How much does it cost?

The basic one-week program costs around $2,187, according to retirement materials. This price does not include accommodation costs, and additional supplements, medications, and special lab tests may also increase the price.

As program types become longer and more specific, the price increases. For example, a week-long weight loss retreat costs around $3,302.

For two weeks, Rebel likely paid a base fee of $4,566, plus the price of her room. And I can tell you it had a nice view of the lake which probably wasn’t cheap.

What other celebrities attended VivaMayr?

Rebel isn’t the only A-lister enjoying this oasis. Actress Elizabeth Hurley also spent a week at VivaMayr back in 2018calling it a “brutal” detox, according to Hello Magazine.

Breakfast

His day begins at 7 a.m. with a 90-minute walk around a scenic lake.

Then, she puts on her bathing suit for a cryotherapy session. Cryotherapy is the process of lowering your surface temperature enough to trigger your body’s fight or flight response, causing a rush of blood to your heart and vital organs to keep your core temperature elevated, a practitioner explained. from chiropractic sports to W.H.. Supposedly, the process is effective in healing, boosting metabolism, and burning body fat.

After that, Rebel heads to breakfast, where she eats avocado mousse, manchego cheese, and an oat roll, along with flaxseed oil. She also takes two supplements which are provided by the station depending on the program she has chosen.

After breakfast, she meets with an osteopath who helps her realign Rebel and gives her helpful tips for maintaining a strong posture.

Pause! Rebel catches up The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because she’s still human like all of us.

Lunch

For lunch, it’s a dish of potatoes (she doesn’t go into details) and then it’s time for her afternoon appointments. She gets a vitamin infusion during oxygen training (which is supposed to help burn fat faster) at a time.

Having dinner

Dinner is from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and Rebel calls her soup dish “not so interesting.” She notes that dinners are kept small to make it easier to cleanse your digestive system.

Rebel also mentions in their story that the majority “of your immune system is in your digestive system”, which hold on! Good to know!

How long does she stay?

Rebel signed off to her daily IG vlog saying that she “tries to come back for two weeks every year now.” And she said she might post some before and after pictures, so stay tuned.

Thanks for coming with us, Reb!
