A new speakeasy will open in downtown Greenville … UP on the Roof to open a location in Anderson … and Bohemian Bull to open a second location in Greenville.

Here’s the dish on some local restaurant news for the week of September 23.

A new speakeasy will open in downtown Greenville

Maestro Bistro and Dining Club will open a speakeasy, Entre Nous, in a space behind its location in downtown Greenville.

Located inside the TD Bank building at 104 S. Main St., the new restaurant is slated to open in October and will be connected to the Maestro through its kitchen.

It will also serve as additional seating for the Maestro until 10 p.m. each day.

UP on the Roof to open Anderson location

on the roof announced on September 13 that it will open a location in Anderson.

Located above the city’s public parking lot at South McDuffie and East Market Streets behind the Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel, the restaurant will be open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday and for brunch Saturday and Sunday.

First Watch will open a second store in Greenville County

First watch will open a location in Greenridge Shops in Greenville, the mall announced on its social media.

The restaurant, slated to open in January 2023, will occupy the former Smith & James space between Chico’s and Diamond’s Choice.

First Watch also has a location on Harrison Bridge Road in Simpsonville.

Simpsonville IHOP reopens

I JUMP in Simpsonville reopened on September 16 after being closed for nearly two years.

The restaurant at 654 Fairview Road offers a variety of dishes, including:

  • Crepes
  • Burgers
  • Sandwiches
  • Eggs
  • Bacon
  • Crepes

IHOP has locations in Greenville, Greer, Easley, Anderson, Spartanburg and Greenwood.

Bohemian Bull will open a second store in Greenville

bohemian bulla James Island-based restaurant, will open a restaurant in Greenville.

According to Dustin Tenney of Reedy River Retail at SVN Blackstream, the restaurant will occupy the former Bacon Bros location at 3260 Pelham Road and is expected to open in late 2022.

Bohemian Bull is also set to open a location in Mauldin’s Maverick resort in early 2023.
