Gardens have sprung up, which means crops of fresh fruit and vegetables are becoming plentiful. Zucchini is one of those that grows prolifically when its preferred growing conditions are right.
My husband went to the farmers market the other week and brought me a zucchini and a summer squash. Normally, I’m happy to see them. My problem was that someone had already given me two zucchini, which made a total of four squashes in my vegetable drawer.
