New York Restaurant Week Celebrates 30 Years — We Dish The Hell’s Kitchen Deals

It is well known to New Yorkers that Restaurant Week is, in fact, benevolent longer than seven days. This time, the salty savings last for more than a month (from July 18 to August 21) in honor of the 30th anniversary of the cultural event!

Robert Guarino and his team whip up some of the best burgers in town, and Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity to try them with their $30 lunch deal. Whether you dive into a beef, turkey or impossible patty, you will be need that knife and fork!

Anejo 668 10th Ave – corner of W47th St
A go-to for well-balanced, potent margaritas and great Mexican tapas, Añejo offers a $30 lunch and $45 dinner with items similar to their Shrimp Empanadas, Lamb Barbacoa Tacos, and of course, their Guacamole. home made. Satisfy your summer seafood cravings with a $60 prix-fixe dinner and $60 Sunday brunch/lunch from Aqua Boil, which serves some of the best Cajun cuisine on the West Side. Enjoy honey garlic wings, snow crab legs, shrimp and fried calamari with their tropical margaritas.

A Hell’s Kitchen favorite for its high-quality Mediterranean cuisine, this W57th Street outpost of the Livanos family of restaurants has something for everyone. This summer’s restaurant menu of the week includes a $45 dinner with options like Greek mussels, zucchini gnocchi and their signature Greek salad.

Ikebana Zen 401 W53rd Street pc 9/10th Ave
A superb, well-appointed dining room with indoor and outdoor seating, Ikebana Zen specializes in traditional Japanese Omakase cuisine with a carefully curated menu full of innovative dishes and cocktails. Although they haven’t released their restaurant week $60 dinner menu yet, you can expect to try dishes similar to their Wagyu Steak and Potato and Yuzu, Fig Miso Black Cod, and Matcha Panna. Cotta. Jasmine’s Caribbean cuisine 371 W46th St – east of 9th Ave
This Restaurant Row restaurant opened during the pandemic and has become one of the best Caribbean spots in the city as a whole. Although positioned as a casual food hall, Gotham West Market is actually quite expensive. Restaurant week is then the perfect time to drop in and try some of their great food at lunch-friendly prices. The $30 lunch and $45 dinner options include dishes similar to La Palapa’s Carne Asada Tacos, Beef Brisket Suadero, and Avocado Vegan Corn.

An incredible mix of Cajun and Chinese cuisines, Chef Zac Zhang and his team welcome diners to a $45 lunch/brunch and $45 dinner with similar menu items to their blue crab and crawfish boil, Asian Jambalaya and Spicy and Sour Jelly Beans. A neighborhood favorite for charcuterie, cocktails and homemade pasta, Longo Bros will be offering a $30 lunch and $45 dinner featuring specialties like their roasted caciocavallo cheese with spiced hot honey (!!) and the much-loved Carbonara.

Marseilles 630 9th Ave – corner of W44th St
A must in Provençal French cuisine, if you haven’t been to Marseille yet, consider this your excuse to finally try their salmon tartare or bavette de boeuf on the $39 lunch menu or the branzino on the evening menu at $59. Masseria Dei Vini 887 9th Ave — bw W57/58th St
The place to go for a spectacular Italian wine program (not to mention Neapolitan pizza and top-notch seafood), Masseria will host a $30 lunch and $45 dinner with entrees like Filetto di Orata ( fillet of sea bream grilled with herbs) and Scialatielli alla Siciliana (fettuccine with aubergines).

The meatball shop 798 9th Ave at W53rd St
Already a great value when you’re looking for a quick but tasty pre-show meal that won’t break the bank, The Meatball Shop joins the restaurant week fun with a $30 lunch and $45 dinner that includes hits like Mini Buffalo Balls, Italian Wedding Soup and Chicken Parmesan.

Nelore Grill 744 9th Ave — corner W50th St
Stop by Nelore to experience some of the best Brazilian cuisine in the area, including their incredible plantains, empanadas and grilled meats. They’re offering a $45 dinner Monday through Friday that will likely include items similar to their shrimp croquets, Brazilian yucca sausage, and seafood paella.
